![]() ![]() Yup, it is certainly true that the ATR is not as shiny as newer native FSX offerings, and it is indeed a port from FS9, but the OP wanted an ATR because of having the manuals for one, and that is the way it is with the one we have for FSX. The PAOB can be made into a very realistic rendition of the real aircraft by adding the ISG FMC. If you have the ISG avionics package incidentally, you might also consider the PAOB Fokker 50 or Fokker 60, which are roughly the same size and appearance of the ATR. For a long time it was considered the best FS airliner you could get, and the quality in terms of systems simulation which made that the case has not changed in spite of its age, even if the eye candy aspect has. ![]() If you want eye candy then there are nicer FSX turboprops out there, but if you want systems fidelity and an ATR-72, the Flight 1 ATR is still up there with the best offerings and does have something most other FSX turboprops do not have, including the PMDG J-41, in that it was an official development tie in with the real aircraft manufacturer. ![]()
